ROAD CLOSURES

Elgin Street - Between Lisgar and Wellington Streets - 5:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Wellington Street - Between Elgin Street and Sussex Drive - 7:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Colonel By Drive - Between Rideau/Wellington Streets and Hog's Back Road - 7:00 a.m. - noon

Hogs Back Road - between Riverside Drive and Hog's Back Bridge 7:00 a.m. - noon

Riverside Drive southbound curb lane - between Hog's Back Road and Heron Road -  5:30 a.m. - noon

Heron Road - eastbound and westbound curb lanes - between Riverside Drive and Prince of Wales Drive northbound - 5:30 a.m. - noon

Prince of Wales Drive northbound - between Heron Road westbound and Preston Street - 5:00 a.m. - 1:00 pm.

Queen Elizabeth Driveway - between Preston Street and Laurier Avenue (north to NAC) 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Laurier Avenue - Between Elgin and Nicholas Streets - 5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Hawthorne Street - between Mainand Elgin Street (includes Pretoria Bridge) - closed from 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

We do our best to minimize inconvenience due to road closures for the Canada Army Run. We appreciate your patience and hope you will come out to cheer on the runners!

Where to Park on Race Day

Parking will not be permitted along Queen Elizabeth Driveway at any time during the Race Kit Pick Up/Sport Expo.

Parking is available at :

  1. Vinci Parking - one block west of the start on Metcalfe street, between Lisgar and Nepean streets
  2. under the World Exchange Plaza located at the corners of Albert and Metcalfe Streets.
  3. undefined undefinedunder the Rideau Centre (just a short walk from the event site) via the entrance on Nicholas Street (east of Colonel By Drive and the Rideau Canal).
  4. undefined undefined under City Hall via the Elgin Street or Laurier Avenue entrances
  5. undefined undefinedunder the National Arts Centre (access via Slater Street just east of Elgin)
  6. Street parking as permitted on Cartier, Cooper, Lisgar and Somerset streets east of Elgin Street and all streets west of Elgin.

**Please note that City of Ottawa Bylaw Officers do enforce parking restrictions as posted on all signs.
