Important Medical Information

Please be sure to write your full name, emergency contact information and any allergies or health conditions you have on the back of your race bib.

Pace Bunnies

Pace Bunnies will be provided for both the 5K and Half marathon events.  They will be easy to spot with their camouflage green ears and a sign indicating their pace time.  Line up at the start line with the Pace Bunny that matches your desired finish time:

Half Marathon: 1:30, 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:10, 2:20 and 2:30

5K: 20:00, 22:30, 25:00, 27:30 and 30:00

Race Number and timing chip

All participants will receive a race bib and timing chip at registration.  Your bib must be pinned (unmodified and fully visible) to the front of your shirt and displayed throughout the entire race.  All participants must attach their chip to their shoelaces as per instructions in the race kits.  Without the chip, you will not be timed or appear in the results.

Finish Line Etiquette

Once you cross the finish line, proceed down the chute to collect your medal and have the timing chip removed. Then continue to the Recovery Area. This is the best place to meet up with friends and family participating in the same race, not the finish chute. Water, refreshments and toilets are available in the Recovery Area in Confederation Park.

If you require medical attention tell a volunteer or look for officials in red Medical t-shirts.

Chip Removal

Just beyond the finish line, volunteers will remove the timing chip from your shoe and present you with your finisher's medal.  Participants who do not return their timing chip will be charged $40.

Recovery Area

The Recovery area is located inside Confederation Park.  It will serve refreshments to all finishers.  You can meet up with a participant once they exit this area.  Look for signs at the entrance way to the park on Laurier Avenue across from City Hall.

Lost and Found

Lost and Found is located in front of City Hall to the left of the entrance.
